How it works

How it works, start to finish.

Five steps, and only one needs your time. Here they are in a real project: Integrity Earth, which rewards farmers for regenerating nature.

The five steps

What happens, from the first call to next year.

  1. We talk

One conversation about your brand, your people and what you need.

  2. We research

Your market, the organizations around you, and how your current site performs.

  3. You see it in a week or two

    Your new home page, built.

  4. We build, refine, launch

The full site written, designed and built, then moved over.

  5. We keep it alive

We watch what people do when they arrive, and improve it as we go.

What we need from you: one conversation, your logo, access to your current site, and quick feedback. That’s all. Need a logo? We can design one. Here’s how the five steps played out for Integrity Earth.

01 — Where they start

A good idea, still looking for its story.

Integrity Earth rewards farmers for regenerating nature. Farmers record their work in FarmEye, their farm software, and people and organizations back it with Bright Greens, a record of ecological work already done and assessed. Their old site talked about capital and investment, and buying a Bright Green meant going to another site. The new site’s job: make a new idea clear at a glance to farmers, buyers and partners, and let buyers take part right there.

02 — What we find

The research, before a single page is designed.

This is the groundwork that shapes everything after it. We look at their people, the organizations around them, and what they already have.

  • Their people

Farmers, who come to FarmEye through their advisers. Buyers, people and organizations alike. And partners.

  • The field around them

Schemes that asked people to trust claims no one could check. Evidence was the opening.

  • What they already had

86 photographs and 7 films, cataloged, so we knew what we had to work with.

  • The one idea

“Rewarding farmers for regenerating nature.” It began as “Healing nature is work. Now it pays.”

03 — The first look

They see the real site, not a mock‑up.

Every page written and built at a private address. Feedback came in rounds, and each round was answered point by point, with a link to see every change live. The second round’s eight changes were live the same day.

04 — What we build

Built out, refined and launched.

  • The words

Every page written, from the home page’s first line to a plain answer to what a Bright Green is not. Their own Bright Green Paper, set as a web page and a 28-page PDF.

  • The brand

A brand system, set down in guidelines: the wordmark, eight colors, two typefaces, layout, imagery and everyday use.

  • The design

Thirteen pages on one design system. Pictures sit in rounded panels, so the page has places to stop instead of scrolling on forever.

  • The build

Fast and secure, with sign-up forms, a booking calendar and every step to buying Bright Greens, the checkout from their own developer built in.

05 — Since launch

We watch, and we keep improving it.

This is what keeps a site alive: we follow how it performs and what the organizations around it are doing, then act on it. In Integrity Earth’s first week, that meant opening the site to search engines, publishing the Paper with its PDF, and a fallback in case the checkout doesn’t load. Three check-ins carry a site through its year.

  • Check-in 1

How people use the new site, where they go, and the first improvement.

  • Check-in 2

The numbers against the goals we set together, and a better version of the page that matters most.

  • Check-in 3

The year in review: what worked, and what the brand needs next.
